Summary

I have been coaching for 10 years across a variety of different age groups throughout the club. I studied Sports Coaching at Southampton Solent University; it was whilst studying that I gained my Level 2 Basketball coaching qualification. Upon completion of the award, I started coaching at Solent Suns Basketball Club.

I am so passionate about coaching due to the experiences I had as a player and how those experiences set me up for life. Giving something back is vitally important to me, and if I can inspire just one player to be a lifelong participant then that makes me happy.

My philosophy when coaching is based on hard work and effort. I like all my teams to play with maximum effort defensively, I like to be classed as a team that are difficult to beat. That means playing tough aggressive defence and making smart offensive decisions.
