Plymouth Basketball Club Junior trials 22/23 Season

Plymouth Basketball Club is delighted to announce their trials for next season. They will take place on Saturday 2nd July 2022 at Tor Bridge Sports Centre (Miller Way, Estover, Plymouth PL6 8UN). Details of timings will be provided once the registration period has closed (Sunday 26th June).

Plymouth Basketball Club as a charity have been providing basketball opportunities for all since it’s inception in 2000. We continue to go from strength to strength in our current form, established in 2021. The 2021/22 season has been particularly successful on the court.

Returning from lock down, the Under 14s achieved an undefeated league campaign with the Under 16s coming 3rd, their best result for 8 years. Players within the club have also moved into the Basketball England Aspire talent pathway to showcase their abilities at regional level. In addition, Isaac recently made his England Under 15s debut in Spain and Serbia.

The interest we have received already from those wanting to play the game has been phenomenal. We remain firmly committed to our ethos of basketball for all, aiming to provide opportunities for anyone with an interest in the game. Whether you are tall, long, quick, small, strong or just love the game, we want to hear from you!

At Under 14s and up our teams require a twice weekly commitment to training with games on the weekend. However, we have a history of providing additional opportunities where there is interest and, of course, our volunteer coaches can facilitate this. The club intends to run teams at the following age groups:
